The US Geological Survey indicates a 6.4 magnitude earthquake has struck Japan.
The quake’s epicenter was said to have been located 72 miles off the island nation’s southeast coast.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
An 9.0 quake rattled Japan in early 2011 and claimed over 15,000 lives.
