Today at 6:09 p.m. it will officially be summer and would you believe it if I told you that even warmer temps are on the way this wknd! For today we can count on another seasonably warm day with temps climbing into the low 90’s. High Pressure still in full control of our forecast and with clockwise flow yielding an East-Southeast flow around the High Pressure Ridge we can count on another dry day with low dew points as well. So we will feel the Heat but not so much humidity.
Temps rising nearly into the upper 90′s this wknd and humidity levels high at times on Friday as we’ll expect our moisture levels to be on the rise with the approach of a weak frontal boundary early Friday afternoon. Our small percentage of receiving any rain across the Valley on Friday has diminished even more. After the passage of this weak surface cold front we can count on drier air to move in as High Pressure will begin to build back across the Southeast. Again it will be HOT this wknd so prepare accordingly if you plan to be outside!
