Weak Surface Cold Front currently centered over the Great Lakes region extending into parts of Texas and Oklahoma will continue to move SE and expected arrival into the TN Valley on Friday. With limited moisture and weak instability rain chances remain low today and tomorrow; therefore, we are not expecting tomorrow to be a wash out by any stretch of the imagination. An isolated shower/storm is all that is expected and this time the probability remains at ~20%.
Drier Air will filter in behind the front for the weekend as we’ll expect High Pressure to build back across the southeast yielding a HOT but DRY weekend around the Valley!
As of right now, Models are in fair agreement that next week could bring a bit of a cool down with temps in the Low to Mid 80’s for the most part.
Summary: If you have big plans this weekend…….no need to hesitate. Will be a great weekend but will be HOT with temps soaring into the upper 90’s across some areas around the Valley therefore you should plan accordingly.
Have a Great Thursday!
