EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING until 7p.m. tonight and HEAT ADVISORY in effect for all of the TN Valley until 7p.m. tomorrow evening

A strong ridge of High Pressure is boiling the TN Valley at this hour with nearly every county hitting triple digit heat today. Some counties across the Valley are under an Excessive Heat Warning until 7p.m. this evening, those counties include: Madison, Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin, Morgan, Limestone, Lawrence, and Lincoln Co. TN. See shaded areas below.

It is going to be HOT and even a bit more humid tomorrow and Sunday so please use caution and stay indoors if at all possible. NOTE: It is always at least 5 degrees hotter at ground level so be mindful of leaving your pets outside this wknd! Shade and water may not cut it tomorrow and Sunday! If you can….please bring them inside.
