Scatt’d Showers/Storms around the TN Valley at this hour are producing strong winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning, and some locally heavy rainfall. This will continue to be the primary threat as we head into the late evening hours. Most activity should calm down as we approach 9/10 p.m. tonight;however, a very warm humid air mass is making it’s way NW from Southern Alabama which could yield a few showers/storms through the overnight hours tonight predominately for areas far west of I-65. The rest of us should be drying out overnight under Mostly Cloudy conditions with overnight lows falling back into the low 70′s. Sunday- rain chances are lower but still present. A few early morning showers are likely up in southern-middle TN around the Giles Co area and a the possibility to see a few pop-up T-Storms as we approach Aftn Hours tomorrow around the rest of the TN Valley. Here is the latest from Vipir! Enjoy your wknd!
