The NWS has issued a slight risk for strong to severe storms across the TN Valley for tomorrow afternoon extending into the early evening hours.
A Strong upper air disturbance currently in the upper Midwest will make its way towards the southeast by tomorrow early afternoon prompting quite a bit of convective activity from Middle Tennessee to just South of Birmingham.
What you need to know: Keep your eye on the radar tomorrow if you can and your ears alert to any warnings the NWS may have to issue. Damaging Winds/ Hail/Lightning are the primary concern but not to the taken lightly. Stay indoors and away from windows shall you encounter a strong T-Storm tomorrow. Predicted window for this occurrence looks to be anywhere b/t 2p.m. Friday and lingering into the late evening hours, around 10p.m. -Merry Perry
