A couple strong lines of storms moving through the Valley this afternoon ahead of an approaching frontal boundary. The main concern with this line has primarily been gusty winds at times, lots of lightning, and embedded heavy rainfall. We’ll expect a few showers/storms to linger into early this evening. A stray shower is possible late tonight but not likely.
Tomorrow looks to shaping up a lot like what we’ve seen around the Valley today. The frontal boundary will try and push through late tomorrow before stalling out just south of the TN Valley yielding rain chances to linger into Monday and the start of the work week as well.
As a result, a mix of sun/clouds is on tap for tomorrow coupled with a 50% chance of Scatt’d showers/T-Storms tomorrow predominately as we approach early afternoon hours and extending into the evening. The NWS has issued a slight risk for a few strong to possibly severe storms for tomorrow. Highs will once again be hovering right around the 90° mark. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
