Today through Thursday it’s looking like we will have to deal with typical summer-like conditions for just a few more days with temps in the low 90′s, moderate humidity, and the chance for afternoon showers/t-storms.
A nice cool front will sweep through the Valley on Friday yielding a good chance for some afternoon storms as we round out the work week. Leading into the wknd, a bit of a cool down will be on tap around the TN Valley with temps in the mid to upper 80′s during the day and possibly mid to even low 60′s at night, could even reach upper 50′s in some areas.
Currently we are sandwiched right in between to air masses as a Stationary Front still remains draped across the TN Valley. This will make for another rather humid day across N. Alabama with the chance for a few pop-up storms early to late afternoon today. Any storms that do develop will mostly likely produce gust winds at times, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.
Have a great Tuesday! Merry Perry
