There’s a cold front sitting off to our northwest that has some much drier air behind it.. it will be here just in time for the weekend but there’s rain to deal with before we can enjoy the break from the humidity. Here’s the latest surface map:

The main cold front has a few disturbances out ahead of it that will provide sporadic chances for rain through the rest of the overnight. The severe threat is low tonight but we could see a few strong storms tomorrow as the cold front swings through. Areas west of I65 will have the best chance for rain in the morning, and areas east of I65 will have the best chance for rain in the afternoon. Here’s what our forecast model has on the timing:
