Good morning and a Happy Thanksgiving to you!
We’re looking at another gorgeous day across the Tennessee Valley, despite a chilly and foggy start!
Here’s a look at what you can expect for today: (Highs will top out around 70°!)
We’ve been treated to some very mild weather this week, but all of that will come to an end this weekend. As a cold front marches through the Tennessee Valley on Friday, temperatures Friday evening will plunge into the upper 20s and low 30s.
This front is also going to provide the focus for increased rain chances on Friday, mainly in the morning. Spotty showers will be possible after 7:00 AM so even though you won’t need the umbrella when the stores open early, you may need it for the walk to the car later.
Here’s a look at your 7-Day Forecast:
We’ll be mainly dry by Friday afternoon and we’ll remain dry into the weekend. Next week, however, things will become unsettled once again. As another cold front, this one stronger, works its way into our region, showers and storms will be possible Monday night into Tuesday.
Models indicate, for now, that a few isolated storms could be strong on Tuesday, with the main threats being damaging winds and heavy rainfall.
Before you doze off into a turkey-induced coma, let’s talk IRON BOWL! It’s a big weekend in the state of Alabama and no matter which side you’re supporting, it’s also going to be a cold weekend in Tuscaloosa!
